Terri White: Mental health, child protection and Britain's ghost children

Terri White: Mental health, child protection and Britain's ghost children

By Alison Perry

My guest on this episode is award-winning journalist and mum-of-one Terri White.

Terri is the former editor of Empire, Time Out New York and Shortlist. She’s written for Grazia, Sunday Times Style and her book Coming Undone is a remarkable memoir about the contrast between her outward image of success and her inner turmoil.

Terri’s frank conversations about mental health have helped so many people and she’s now working as an ambassador for the NSPCC and its Listen Up, Speak Up campaign which encourages us all to play a part in spotting vulnerable, at-risk children and speaking up for them.

You can learn more about the NSPCC's 10-minute online training that they'd like everybody to complete, to help us all Listen Up, Speak Up.

You can follow Terri on Instagram and on X.
