Long before he was a starter for the Red Sox, Shea Hillenbrand was a little boy desperately competing with his older brothers for his father&aposs approval. One day, during a sibling basketball game, 11-year old Shea was trying to withstand the typical verbal and emotional abuse when he could take it no more. He recalls the game, its aftermath and consequences.
