#84. Undercover Cop Brings Down London Gangsters - Peter Bleksley

As a founding member of Scotland Yard’s undercover unit in the 1980s, Peter Bleksley has lived amongst some of the most dangerous and well-connected criminals in Britain. 

He’s passed himself off as an international drug baron, a contract killer, and an arms dealer during his time, but it all went wrong when he was forced into witness protection after the FBI uncovered a plot to have him murdered. 

Peter has since made a name for himself in the media, leading the Hunter Squad in Channel 4’s hit series Hunted, and is now on the trail of a suspected murderer who has been on the run for over 15 years, as part of his BBC podcast ‘Manhunt’.

He has nerve-racking stories of near-misses, some fascinating insight into living undercover for over a decade, and he shares his reasoning behind dedicating his life to tracking down the UK’s most wanted.
