In March 2020, as the world was advised to stay indoors, a cultural phenomenon was born.  The Netflix documentary series, Tiger King, was an instant hit, spawning countless memes, and making stars of Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin. Carole had lived a life of conservation and animal protection, stemming from a childhood fascination with wild animals. But following the sudden disappearance of her husband, and an ongoing feud with the outlandish Joe Exotic, controversy seemed to follow her everywhere.  She’s faced lawsuits, death threats and even accusations that she murdered her husband and fed him to the tigers.
