iCivics: Inspiring Youth to Engage in Positive Change
Today, amid turmoil and grief as we hear calls for justice and institutional change, we ask ourselves: What is our responsibility as citizens? The bi-partisan non-profit, iCivics, founded by Justice Sandra Day O’Connor and today championed by Justice Sonia Sotomayor, teaches youth about civic participation and how to make their voices heard. On this episode, we talk about the opportunity to engage with our government and the importance of civic education with retired Judge Ann Claire Williams and executive director of iCivics, Louise Dubé.
