Joining me to break down all of the many layers you can find in the film is Licensed Psychologist, Dr. Ayanna Abrams. Dr. Abrams and I chatted about the dynamics present between Malcolm & Marie, things we noticed while watching the movie, what it might look like for Malcolm & Marie to go to couples therapy after the evening in the film, and the kinds of things she might discuss with Marie if she came to therapy individually.
