Pass the Parcel

With local elections around the corner, Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer were in combative mood in this week's Prime Minister's Questions, seeking to pass the parcel of blame, but without bringing much new to the debate. The Bank of England Chief Economist has certainly started one of those. He says Brits need to accept they are worse off instead of seeking pay rises - or price increases - to keep up with inflation. Bloomberg's senior economics reporter Philip Aldrick discusses whether Huw Pill has a point when he talks about the game of 'pass the parcel'.
