Dreams Don't Work Unless You Do
Let me guess... Your dreams are bigger than where you are right now? I mean, they should be. They are your dreams. But here is the thing. When you have a dream and then going after the dream, you realize that not everyone is going to subscribe to your dream. That's why it's called YOUR dream for a reason. I was taking a listen to Jack Harlow and his track, "Churchill Downs" featuring Drake.
And in it, he says, "Sometimes when I sit back and really let it register, I did everything I said I would and said it first. I mean the world's in denial, but they all know what I'm headed for." What are you headed for? What are you going after when it comes to your dreams? Are you waiting for other people to subscribe? Because guess what... they're not.
Then Drake comes, "Because we already know how they rock. They throwing stones. Whenever you're getting bigger, there's growing pains. I got enough pull to make the city start throwing games." Catch it. Dreams don't work unless you do. But that means you're literally going to have to put in the work... the sweat equity. And everything that's going to take you to be all that you can be, but don't expect everybody else to be cheering you on.
Listen, the only way to go is up. Dreams don't work unless you do.
