Act Like You Know

Act Like You Know

By iHeartPodcasts

Today's dose of "Vitamin D" is dedicated to acting like you know. Acting like I know what? I'm glad you asked. Acting like you know who you are and you can tell by your level of confidence. So who do you say you are? Who do you see when you look in the mirror? Hmm? Now, sometimes we can get caught up on what's around us, and yet we have this promise or whatever this intuition, this dream, this desire of whatever it is in our heart. Now, I like to say that that's something that God put inside of us or the universe or energy, whatever your being or source is called. I'm going to refer as God put inside of you, put inside of me, put inside all of us. And the thing is, it's so interesting when we talk about acting, there's a source of belief that you have, right?

Because you act as if you are and belief is so key when we talk about living our best life. When we talk about being our best selves and you start to realize that your beliefs must be aligned with your desires in order for you to live at your true potential. I'm thinking about this track "Act Like You Know," by LaShaun Pace and it's featuring Karen Clark Sheard.

And in it, they make mention of talking about how the enemy can come in to try to destroy your peace and your life. But you have to remind yourself that you're more than a conqueror. Now, this enemy could be anything of confusion. Anything that is distorting, anything that doesn't serve in the betterment of you. But no matter what you got to act like, you know. See, that "uncomfortable" feeling that you feel inside? Whatever that is that makes you feel that discontent, that lets you know that it's not aligned of what was told or which who you believe that you are. Now, we all go to our funks. They're the ups and downs. But even in the down part, we must remind ourselves who we are. What the desires of of our heart.

I have to tell myself on a consistent basis, "Dawn, don't let what you see make you forget what God said." My vision is so much greater than right now and so I have to act accordingly so I can reap those results. And the thing that's so amazing about belief is that it requires an amount of faith. Faith that aligns with the fact of believing what God said is true. Those desires that were placed on your heart are true, even though you can't see the next step. That's faith. And then it's so interesting that all it takes is faith, the size of a mustard seed. So, again, I have to ask you, who do you say that you are?

Have you heard of the book "As A Man Thinketh" by James Allen? In it he quotes "good thoughts and actions can never produce bad results. Bad thoughts and actions can never produce good results." So you got to act like you know. Act like you know of what you say to yourself to be true despite what you see. Remember, don't let what you see make you forget what God said.

So now when you say I am, who do you say that you are? Act like you know.

That's it for your dose of "Vitamin D." Be sure to follow us on all social media @VitaminDDawnDai and until next time, always remember, "you are your greatest asset."
