Ep 90: Julianne Sitch

Julianne Sitch was just recently named the new Head Women’s Soccer Coach for the University of Denver. Prior to joining the Denver Pioneers, Coach Sitch was the Head Men's Soccer Coach at the University of Chicago and led their program to an NCAA Division III National Championship, becoming the first woman to coach an NCAA men's soccer team to a national title, in any division. In addition to her prowess as a coach, she was also a standout professional and collegiate soccer player herself. Just before taking on her new role at Denver, Coach Sitch joined Nick to discuss the importance of empowering athletes to determine the team culture, the benefits of playing at the DIII level, and why she views success as creating an environment that players enjoy.
