You do not need to starve yourself in order to earn a Thanksgiving meal. Just because someone says something it doesn’t mean you have to accept it. If your stomach looks like you ate after you ate- it’s because you ate. If you get overwhelmed you can ask for what you need. Your Mother in laws comments about food/ bodies/ exercise etc are about her not you.
