The thing that is most remarkable about Lori is her ability to see the story and song in everyday living. She sees the beauty in it all and writes it in such a way that makes us feel to our bones and know we are alive. She kept mentioning how lucky she was during this interview... but I think her success in her career and marriage and life is so much more than luck. It’s her perspective and willingness to go all in. Lori is a poet and a truth teller. She’s a mother of 5 kids and a wife to Gene, her sweetheart since they were just kids themselves. Lori has a new album out “Balladeer” and it is a masterpiece, just like all of her other albums. Anyone who knows of Lori and listens to her music and her sing knows she’s got a gift straight from heaven. She’s one of those people who you just know you are in the presence of greatness when you’re around her, yet she doesn’t even realize it. That’s what makes her magic.
