Laura Hutfless: Named one of Billboard’s “Power players” and “Country’s most powerful” multiple years in a row, Laura is using her influence to help survivors of mass shootings find healing.
Laura has a laundry list of accomplishments. She is a top female power player in the Entertainment Industry. She launched FlyteVu (They Connect Brands To Consumers Through the Power Of Music, Pop Culture and Entertainment) in 2015 after 15+ years in the music industry brokering Artist & Brand partnerships at CAA, Ticketmaster, and WME where she grew sponsorship revenues to over $50M. But Laura is not one of those “bosses” who just orders people around . She is all about the creative experience and hiring people who think outside the box and can bring ideas to life that others would be too scared to even dream about. I love how she told me “no is just a suggestion.” She won’t stop until her vision is executed no matter how much red tape she has to get through and how daunting the task may be. Giving back is where her heart lives. She wants people to be seen, ideas to come alive, people to feel fulfilled, and brands and entertainers to combine forces with a message that impacts the world for the better. I have been lucky enough to work with her on several campaigns and it has been nothing short of inspiring to see the creativity, connectivity and fluidness of her team. You can tell everyone is full of passion at FlyteVu. Laura talks about why healing is so important to her. When she was young she almost died from anorexia. Last year she lost her boyfriend. He was a survivor of Columbine. Laura has made it her life’s work to help heal those who have survived a mass shooting.
