Gavin Lux
Last October, Los Angeles Dodgers top prospect Gavin Lux became the youngest player of all-time to hit a pinch-hit home run in the postseason. This season, the shortstop favored to win NL Rookie of the Year is… well, right now he’s watching Game of Thrones for the third time at his parents house in Wisconsin. Jensen checks in with Gavin to see how he’s staying well-prepared for the Home Run derby (if he’s asked!), the pressures of representing the Dodger Blue and playing as himself in the MLB The Show 20 Players League. Gavin also lets Jensen know that the newest Dodgers, Mookie Betts and David Price, are fitting in nicely on an already loaded team (and group chat). He then shares his thoughts on the delayed MLB season, the all games in Arizona idea, and why no matter when the season starts, Dodgers fans won’t forget about the Astros. Oh, and there’s also praise for Kershaw’s comedy chops, LA’s own Roddy Rich and some questionable quarantine love for Crocs. This episode and series supports FeedingAmerica.org.
