PAC-12 Apostles - Salt Lake/Tucson/Westwood Visits, Jimmy Lake, Pac-12 Work From Home, Lincoln Riley Recruiting, Oregon ’22 Class, JT Daniels WV, ASU QB Situation
On this Episode of the Pac-12 Apostles, George Wrighster and Ralph Amsden are back! George took his son on unofficial visits to University of Arizona, University of Utah, and UCLA - he details his up-close impressions of each football program. An investigation into the decision by Washington to fire Jimmy Lake didn't turn up anything scandalous, which backs up George's reporting last year that they just decided to move on based on how they felt the program was regressing. Pac-12 Commissioner George Kliavkoff finally acted to get the conference out of their insanely expensive San Francisco lease, so why isn't Ralph happy? Oregon bolstered their 2022 class by adding 5-star OL Josh Conerly, and convincing highly touted WR Kyler Kasper to commit and reclassify- the guys analyze those additions and talk about Oregon's recruiting. Lincoln Riley weighs in on what he'd like to see done to curb the influence of NIL collectives- George sees it as whining, while Ralph disagrees. Last up, in QB news, JT Daniels spurns Oregon State and lands at West Virginia, while Arizona State openly suggests they're still looking for next year's QB. #fsrweekends
