REP: Rod Woodson, Carson Daly and "Guest Who"
Rod Woodson, Carson Daly and "Guest Who" Following a pair of conference championship games which saw Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers defeat the Atlanta Falcons, and a Ray Lewis-led Baltimore Ravens squad avenge last year’s loss to the New England Patriots, the stage is set for Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans. To discuss the big matchup between the Ravens and 49ers, Rich dials up Hall of Fame defensive back Rod Woodson, a member of the Baltimore Ravens squad that won Super Bowl XXXV in 2001. Rich and Rod discuss the Kaepernick factor and how his speed and ability to throw effectively could prove to be a challenge for Lewis, Ed Reed and the Ravens’ defense. Woodson also discusses the emergence of Joe Flacco down the stretch and the troubles he presents Patrick Willis and the vaunted 49ers’ defense. "Last Call: With Carson Daly" brought their show to the NFL Network studio this week to interview Rich for an upcoming episode. Afterwards, we sat down with Carson to find out what he's been up to since his last visit to the REP one year ago. Carson is one of the all-time good guys in the business and has found great success with his hit NBC show, "The Voice", which as you'll find out the upcoming season, has a bizarre tie-in to the Manti Te'o girlfriend hoax that has unfolded in recent days. And finally, the show rounds out with the highly anticipated "Guest Who" segment that podcast producer Chris Law has had in the works for a few weeks. We can't tell you who the mystery guest is, but just know that you'll thoroughly enjoy listening to a befuddled Rich Eisen as Law and fellow producer Chris Brockman enjoy a laugh. Stay tuned next week for our big "Rich Eisen Super Bowl Special Podcast" featuring an all-star guest list as well as some of the key players who will be participating in Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3. Enjoy, and as always, thanks for downloading!
