Bobby Bones: The Price of Bulldog Ownership, Camel Bites & More
In this episode of In The Vet’s Office, Bobby Bones joins Dr. Josie and her co-host Shannon Ella as they dive into the Case of the Week – a burly, tattooed man that came into the vet clinic with a very small dog that had music playing…from its stomach! Instead of taking calls this episode, Bobby asks Dr. Josie his questions including asking about the worst bite she’s ever gotten in practice. Spoiler alert – it was from a camel! Bobby and Dr. Josie talk about the money pit that is bulldog ownership (we still love you, Stanley!) and why they have so many health problems. Bobby recalls his childhood dog getting sent to live on a ‘farm’ after biting someone and only learning very recently what really happened to the dog. Bobby also shares about his special bond with his dog Dusty that passed away several years ago after battling cancer. Dr. Josie and Shannon wrap up the episode with PAW & ORDER, the segment where Dr. Josie details things she’d never do with her own pets. This week she stresses the dangers of giving your pets over the counter allergy medications with the “D” ingredient aka decongestant which is life threatening.
