London fare dodgers: are enough being caught?

Tube staff report more than 756,000 fare dodger cases in 2023. TfL reveals 56% rise in fare dodger prosecutions compared with 2022…but 10,000 fewer are prosecuted each year than at pre-pandemic levels. Fare evasions cost TfL £130m a year in lost income.
