S07E06 | Henry Gaskin | The Murder of Elizabeth Gaskin

By Stuart Blues

In the sixth episode of season 7, I tell the story of Henry Gaskin. On February 19, 1919, 27-year-old Henry Gaskin murdered his 25-year-old wife, Elizabeth Gaskin, in a wooded area of Hednesford Hills, later dubbed 'Gaskin's Wood'. After murdering Elizabeth, Henry dismembered her body and dumped it in a gasholder at Hednesford Gasworks. On February 23, 1919, a week after the murder, Henry confessed to the police and showed them where he had dumped Elizabeth's body. He was handed a death sentence on July 4, 1919, and his execution by hanging took place on August 8, 1919. ⁣⁣For all things British Murders, please visit my website:⁣ https://www.britishmurders.com/⁣ Intro music:⁣ David John Brady - 'Throw Down the Gauntlet'⁣ https://linktr.ee/davidjohnbradymusic⁣ My recording equipment:⁣ Shure SM7B Vocal Microphone Cloud Microphone Cloudlifter CL1 Focusrite Scarlett Solo USB Audio Interface Rode PSA-1 Professional Studio Boom Arm Recorded and Edited in:⁣ Hindenberg PRO References:⁣ www.britishmurders.com/henrygaskin/ Learn more about your ad choices.
