S04E04 - Stuart Hulse (The Murder of Shirley Brown)

In the fourth episode of British Murders Season 4, I tell the story of Stuart Hulse and Shirley Brown.⁣ In June 1996, Hulse attended a "sordid sex party" with ten other individuals.⁣ At the party, Hulse watched an extreme pornographic video and became frustrated when he was left on his own after everyone else coupled up and disappeared to different bedrooms.⁣ Hulse took a taxi home, snuck into Shirley Brown's house and sexually assaulted her.
