Clara Amfo on Inspiration, Imposter Syndrome & Celebrity Culture

By Bimini/W!ZARD Studios

Few have done it like Clara Amfo. As one of the UK's most loved TV and radio presenters, she has hosted the BRIT Awards, Top of the Pops and has even competed on Strictly Come Dancing. From the Live Lounge to Glastonbury, Clara has sat down and interviewed some of the world’s most prolific artists – including Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Dua Lipa, Sir Elton John, Harry Styles and Billie Eilish.

Through-out her thriving career, Clara has flown the flag for young, Black Brits across the industry and has smashed the glass ceiling – including becoming the first Black woman to host a prime daytime show on BBC Radio 1.

In this episode of The Pieces, Bimini and Clara Amfo talk about inspirations, imposter syndrome and overcoming personal trauma. Clara also reflects on her biggest celebrity interviews and reveals the impact she hopes to have on young Black girls.
