Just graduated? Here's how to use transferable experience in your interview answers
So you just graduated university, you've got no relevant work experience and you're going in for an interview tomorrow. How are you going to answer their interview questions? First of all- don't panic!! The employer doesn't expect you to have experience doing exactly what the job is (especially if it's a graduate role).
In this weekโs episode, Sarah and Emma cover the tips for people who have just graduated to PROVE that you have more transferable experience than you think. This is a great listen for anyone new to the workforce, or in the middle of a career change
๐ Shoot Your Shot - Shoutout to From Es. โHi ladies! I just wanted to reach out to thank you for what you do. I got laid off a couple of months ago and had to start looking for a new job which has been incredibly stressful to say the least. I decided to do a full 180 and look for work outside of the healthcare field (which is all I've done for 13 years). I listened to the "listen to this before your interview" episode as I was driving to the interview and had so much self doubt I almost cancelled, but your encouragement helped me get there and while I was in the parking lot I figured at the very least I could use the experience as practice. I followed all your tips to a T and received an offer! I can't thank you enough as this job comes with a significant raise. I'm so glad I binged your episodes in the week prior. Thank you! โคโ
