101: Seasons, Cycles & Sanity with Lisa Pascoe
Hello Couragemakers!
Welcome to episode 101! Today I couldn’t be happier to share with you my conversation with Lisa Pascoe. Lisa Pascoe is an inspirational Speaker, Intuitive Master NLP Practitioner, and Recovering Perfectionist who is passionate about empowering women to tap into their inner wisdom and intuition, so they can live more authentic lives. Lisa runs rewilding retreats, 1:1 coaching and soul-nourishing circles for sensitive women ready for change. She believes kindness is key and intuition and wellbeing reign supreme because we all know that you can’t pour from an empty cup. Lisa currently lives in Southsea with her partner Bekky and their wire-haired sausage dog Henry. She has a penchant for cake, oracle cards and walks in the woods.
I don’t even know where to start when it comes to sharing what we talked about during today’s episode. To say we really went there is an understatement!
Lisa shares her journey into working to create spaces for women to to drop out of their heads and get into their hearts, embracing the dark as well as the light (we also have a great conversation about the dangers of spiritual bypassing) and Lisa’s journey of living a life that feels aligned and true.
We talk about not living on autopilot, the value of having a space where you are simply listened to, the difficulties that come with being an empath, and how important seasons, cycles and sanity are for women and how we can use them to live a life that is led by our intuition. And SO much more!
If you need some fire in your feminist belly, if you’re looking for a way to tune into your intuition or you’re sick of this whole idea that there’s a prescribed path or blueprint to how you should live your life, you are going to love this episode. This episode is a great dollop of permission to own and change your story and to write your own chapters.
Lisa and I first connected back in 2015 when I worked on her branding, and I am so happy our paths have crossed again. Her work is currently influencing me more than I can tell you and our conversation just filled my soul. Here’s to rising as women and changing the world!

About Meg & That Hummingbird Life
I’m Meg and I’m the host of Couragemakers and founder of That Hummingbird Life. I’m an INFJ creative and multi-passionate who has a bit of a notebook and post-it note obsession, loves foot-stomping country music and likes her hot chocolate with way too much chocolate.
I started Couragemakers because I wanted to create a platform for passionate and unconventional women to have honest conversations and to share their stories, struggles and dreams. The intention behind this podcast is to inspire and encourage creative and mission-driven women to live a wholehearted life and follow the beat of their drum.
WHEN I'M NOT RECORDING EPISODES, WRITING BULLSHIT-FREE SUNDAY PEP TALKS TO MY WONDERFUL COURAGEMAKERS COMMUNITY OR WORKING 1:1 WITH CLIENTS, I'M USUALLY COVERED IN PAINT AND THINKING OF IMAGINATIVE WAYS OF HIDE MY WOULD-BE DOG FROM MY LANDLORD.
